Our story

A New Chapter at China Brasserie

China Brasserie enters a new chapter under the ownership of Mandy and William, two highly experienced restauranteurs with a shared passion for authentic Chinese cuisine with warm and genuine hospitality.

William brings years of experience as a seasoned head chef, with a deep understanding of traditional Chinese cooking, combining skilled craftsmanship with a careful balance of flavours. Mandy brings a strong background in hospitality, creating welcoming dining experiences that keep guests coming back.

The focus remains simple: excellent food, thoughtful service, and a dining experience that feels both familiar and special.

The Golden Willow

Together, Mandy and William previously owned and ran The Golden Willow in Storrington, where they built a loyal following and a reputation for quality food and attentive service. They now bring that same care and consistency to China Brasserie.

A Note of Thanks

China Brasserie was founded by Yee and Fien, whose dedication made it a valued part of the Horsham community. Following Yee’s passing in 2024, the restaurant was entrusted to Mandy and William, who continue the legacy in its next chapter with the effort and attention that made it the success it is.

Getting Here

We are on North Street opposite the Capital Theatre, a short 5 minute walk from Horsham train station.
North Street and Pirie's Place car parks are both located a 2 minute walk from our restaurant.

Street parking is also available on surrounding roads in the evening.
